Michelle Cook is one of your Labour councillors for Wandsworth Town ward. Michelle Cook represents Wandsworth Town, a community where she grew up, raised her son, and continues to contribute. She began her career as a bereavement counsellor with Wandsworth Bereavement Service (WBS) and, over 25 years, has led and transformed voluntary sector services across local family support, youth work, addiction, and social care. Most recently, she managed a specialist team supporting people living with Multiple Sclerosis, deepening her understanding of residents with complex needs. She is committed to amplifying community voices, strengthening the voluntary sector, and widening participation, particularly among young residents.
